I think we can both agree that anyone who is purposefully trying to hurt others online, just for the sake of hurting others, shouldn't be given the time of day.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately there's no CAPTCHA equivalent for intent (yet?) so we can't really know who's who. I didn't suggest that we ignore crowdsourced wisdom, I suggested instead that we cannot let purposefully destructive and willfully thoughtless criticisms bog us down.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The unexamined life is not worth living.
